Happy Home Furnishers opened their first store in Port Talbot in 1979. Since then we have grown into being a major force in the furniture industry with retail stores stretching across South Wales from Cross Hands in the west to Pontypridd in the east.
Our image and range of products have grown considerably, and our superstore at Cross Hands reflects the company's growth achieved whilst remaining a 100% Welsh company, with further developments planned. The company has a simple philosophy, our buyers hunt all over the world and have established partnerships with leading factories of quality tested products to bring directly to Wales at the keenest possible prices.
Our size of company gives us a distinct advantage in that we are not only large enough to bulk buy - to ensure the largest possible discounts, but can also deal with some unique manufacturers of quality products who do not have the capacity to supply the national chains. This has often meant Happy Home Furnishers are able to obtain exclusive, often better made products at excellent prices.
Regular weekly deliveries and our own transport fleet mean that most items are usually available from stock, ensuring a quick delivery. This has undoubtedly been a great hit with our customers over the years.
